I spent a total of 11 years (7 active and 4 in the NG) in the Army Corps of Engineers.  My assignments included Platoon Leader in a Float Bridge Company, Heavy Equipment Platton Leader in a Port Construction Company, Executive Officer and then Commander, US Army Diving Detachment, Adjutant and then Company Commander, Charlie Company, 54th Engineer Bn, Wildflecken GGermany. 

Came home and entered the family business.  Served with the Engineer Brigade in Nashville doing hospital design and preplanning in England and then served as XO of the 278 Engineer Company, a part of the 278th Armored Cav.

My time in the military continues to be a fond memory with good friends and lots of fun.  Hope you each had similar enjoyment for your time of service.  Than you to each of you for standing in the gap with me and out comrades in arms.
